Rosa leads consulting projects, cultivates partnerships, and guides long-term strategy for organizations addressing structural inequities across the United States and Latin America. A scholar, community advocate, organizer, urban planner, and strategist from the Global South, she brings more than twenty-five years of experience working at the intersection of nonprofit practice and philanthropy.

A first-generation immigrant from Lima, Perú, Rosa has spent over two decades living and working in the U.S. Deep South. Over the course of her career, she has spent more than 12 years working within grassroots and community-based organizations and a decade in philanthropy, giving her a strong understanding of both sides of the funding ecosystem. She currently lives and works between New Orleans, Louisiana, and Lima, Perú, bringing a transnational perspective to her work rooted in racial, gender, climate, and economic justice.

Rosa earned a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Southern Mississippi, a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of New Orleans, and a Ph.D. in Urban Studies from UNO. She is also a Faculty Associate at Arizona State University, where she teaches courses in organizational development, grant writing, program evaluation, and social justice.

Lila is a writer and researcher from the Florida Gulf Coast. As Content Strategist at RSS, she leads the development and execution of content and fundraising strategies for partner organizations, equipping them with compelling narratives that inspire action and build lasting connections.

​Trained in creative writing and holding an MSc in Medical Anthropology, Lila grounds her work in community voice, local context, lived experience, and structural inequities. She approaches writing as a way of shifting narratives and resourcing more just futures. Her experience spans research, fundraising, strategic initiatives, and communications across justice-focused nonprofits, including partnerships in the U.S., Afghanistan, Europe, and the UK, informing a globally grounded perspective.

Lila also leads justice-informed community education, including curating "The Digital Legacy of Eugenics" at UCL and co-producing a multisensory podcast centering Global South voices. She splits her time between the U.S. South and Oxford, UK, participating in creative writing and feminist reading groups that shape her practice.
